For The Kid’s Toy Party is one of the most anticipated parties of the holiday season. Since its 2003 inception, the fundraising event has collected and raised funds for over 65,000 toys for more than 20 beneficiaries. Current board president, Stacy Brown, aims to collect another 5,000 toys at this year’s events, which will be held at the Biltmore Ballrooms again this year.

The Toy Party is coming up in December, always a highlight of the holiday season. Can you share what you have in store for us all?

Toy Party is Sunday, December 11, at the Biltmore Ballrooms, and the board is working hard to repeat last year’s success and make this year’s party even better. Returning this year is Atlanta’s very own Phoenix and the Fantasy Girls with a very special surprise guest. Of course, we have specialty cocktail drinks, VIP hour, our fabulous silent auction, and much more. 

The Toy Party is the biggest event of the year for FTK. What makes this event so important?

Not only does FTK collect and distribute toys and backpacks each year, but we form lasting relationships between friends, family, and the community. We at FTK love seeing everyone bring their toys for kids and the excitement it brings. This event is more than just a party to gather and have fun; it’s about opening our hearts and doing a little extra for someone.  

Toy Party raises funds and collects toys for children in need all over metro Atlanta – how many toys are you aiming to collect this year?

Our goal is to collect 5,000 toys and distribute them to our beneficiaries that serve families in need for the holiday season. We work with over 20 have over 20 beneficiaries, including AID Atlanta, Dr. Annise Mabry Foundation, Chris 180, Jerusalem House, East Lake Foundation, and many more.

Do you have any other upcoming events this year?

Yes! On Saturday, December 3, 2022, at The Hideaway, More To Love ATL will return with Gag the Grinch benefitting FTK. Last year was so much fun, and the MTL crew went all out to raise money and collect toys for FTK.

How can we attend the 2022 Toy Party?

You can purchase tickets at forthekid.org. Tickets are $35 for general admission, plus an unwrapped new toy valued at $20. VIP is $150 plus an unwrapped new toy valued at $20.
