Bobby Newberry’s debut album, “Dopamine Rollercoaster,” is a sonic representation of the turbulent path many of us traverse in our quest for happiness. Reflecting from his Los Angeles abode, Bobby Newberry contemplates the highs and lows of life, noting, “Life is full of ups and downs. It can often feel like we’re on an emotional rollercoaster, but that’s what makes it all worth it. It’s the thrill of the chase, the agony of defeat, and the rush of excitement when we finally achieve our goals.” Newberry takes listeners on an enchanting and mind-altering journey by fusing diverse musical genres throughout the album. Expect heart-pounding house beats, electrifying dance tracks, and even soulful mid-tempo tunes.

“I personally penned each song on Dopamine Rollercoaster,” Newberry adds, underscoring their embodiment of the various moments and moods he has experienced in recent years. The album includes captivating tracks like “Escape,” a sultry house and disco fusion with a mesmerizing bassline, and “Blackout,” Newberry’s anthem for endless nights of revelry. Notably, there’s “Freak,” a high-octane duet with drag star Rhea Litre that encourages living life authentically and unapologetically, and “Ride,” a feel-good summer anthem about embracing risks and pursuing dreams.

The order in which fans experience the tracks on the album is crucial. “I dedicated considerable time to arranging them in the perfect order,” Newberry chuckles. “Once I locked in their placements, I added outros to certain songs to ensure the journey felt just right.”
