Fragrances and
scents mean a lot to me, because they can set a mood or even affect your own
sentiment. I rarely leave the house without wearing a fragrance that of some
sort, and I love setting the mood in my house with a scented candle, a
diffuser, or even incense.
For the Home
For a room fragrance, it is on the pricey side, but boy, does it smell great, and you have it for a long time. Biggest minus is that Jo Malone doesn’t sell refills! Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka Diffuser, $120
I was gifted a candle from this company, and it was such a pleasure to experience the subtle woodsy scent noted. Illume Juniper Moss Artisan Ceramic Candle, $34
It’s a bit of an investment, but you get to play with differently scented capsules – and it’s clean and allergy-friendly too! Aera Smart Diffuser, $150
Burning incense can be a little harsh, but you can find lightly scented incense sticks out there, and they are effective if you want to freshen up a large room! Camille Incense Holder, $8
For You
This one keeps popping up when I recommend fragrances because it is a beautiful, woody fragrance this develops very nicely on the skin. Comme des Garcons Wonderwood, $131
Gucci’s latest creation is universal and, quite frankly, everyone should get into this minerally aromatic fragrance that transcends gender. Gucci Mémoire d’une Odeur, $120
You don’t need to spritz if you want to smell nice. A scented body lotion is a great way for you to get a little fragrance without overdoing it. Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Body Moisturizer, $70
