As Pride Month kicks off, Orlando transforms into a vibrant hub of LGBTQ+ celebration during One Magical Weekend, a premier event coinciding with the first weekend of June. Among its standout festivities is Bear Jamboree, a cherished gathering that celebrates the bear community and its admirers with a series of inclusive and spirited events.
A Weekend of Celebration and Community
This year, Bear Jamboree runs from Thursday, May 29, through Sunday, June 1, 2025, offering a packed schedule of events that foster connection, pride, and unbridled fun.
- Thursday, May 29: The festivities commence with the #TBT Welcome Party at the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Hotel. From 8 PM to 1 AM, guests are treated to performances by Angelica Sanchez and her Showgirls, setting a lively tone for the weekend.
- Friday, May 30: The excitement continues with the Bear Lagoon @ Riptide party at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Waterpark. From 8 PM to 2 AM, attendees can dance under the stars, enjoy thrilling water rides, and revel in the unique atmosphere that only Disney can provide.
- Saturday, May 31: The celebration moves to the House of Blues at Disney Springs for RED Vol. 8: ROMA, a themed dance party running from 8 PM to 1 AM. This event invites guests to embrace their inner gladiator and dance the night away in a setting inspired by ancient Rome.
- Sunday, June 1: The weekend culminates with the Pride Ball: Born This Way, held at the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Hotel from 9 PM to 1 AM. This official World Pride kickoff party features international DJ Guy Scheiman and celebrates the unity and diversity of the LGBTQ+ community.
Throughout the weekend, the host hotel also offers daytime pool parties on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as well as fun after-hours dance parties.
