AGLCC Announces 2018 Annual Dinner Emcee

Atlanta, GA:  The Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (AGLCC) announced today that Emmy Award-winning WSB-TV reporter, NefertitiJáquez will host their 2018 Annual Community Awards Dinner, to be held Friday, September 21 at the Marriott Marquis in downtown Atlanta.

“Nef” as she is often referred to, started her career at CBS4 in Miami and has worked in several major markets.  She studied at Brown University and holds a degree in American Politics and Public Policy with an Independent Study in Journalism.  She is a native of Rhode Island and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.  She has also trained with the FBI and Homeland Security. She and her rescue dog, Mud, now call Atlanta home.

Nefertiti Jáquez joined the WSB-TV team in May of 2016.  WSB-TV parent company, Cox Enterprises, is a long-time Gold Level Partner of the AGLCC.

AGLCC President, Sandy Mollet, said of the development, “We are thrilled to have someone of Ms. Jáquez’s caliber serve as the emcee for our showcase event of the year!”  Mollet continued, “Our partners are really engaged, and this is just another example of how.  This event is our opportunity to celebrate the brightest and best among our membership, and to have Nefertiti play such a key role in the program will make an already fabulous event, even more exciting!”
