Lambda Legal has been at the forefront of the fight for LGBTQ+ rights since 1973, from challenging HIV discrimination to securing core protections for LGBTQ+ youth and making marriage equality a reality. They’ve litigated over a thousand cases that have reshaped our communities—and now you can explore the stories behind Lambda Legal’s pivotal cases that paved the way for broader freedoms for LGBTQ+ people and people living with HIV.

The opening reception will include the panel discussion Lambda Legal’s Past, Present, and Future in Atlanta and throughout the South.

The panel will explore Lambda Legal’s landmark legal history in Atlanta, the critical cases currently being litigated, and the future of our movement in the South. The conversation complements the exhibition by shedding light on how Lambda Legal’s work is shaping the course of LGBTQ+ justice. The panel will include Dani Alexander-Burk (Lambda Legal Southern Regional Program Coordinator), Vandy Beth Glenn (Lambda Legal Client, Glenn v. Brumby), Kevin Jennings (Lambda Legal CEO), Jane Morrison (Founding Lambda Legal Southern Regional Director), and others.
