Dorian is originally from Virginia, and for the past two years, he lives in Atlanta with his partner, Jared, and their Shiba Inu pup, Amaru. The way his mother cared selflessly for others inspired Dorian to pursue a career as a nurse, and he intends to obtain a Master’s degree and become a Nurse Practitioner in the coming years. Dorian was also the first Emory ICU nurse to receive the COVID vaccine (read his Q&A on page 8-10). He characterizes himself as a horror movie fanatic, an old-school gamer, and a nerd – and he is ready to break into song at any time as if he was in a musical!
