Mike grew up in Northern California but has called Georgia home for over six years and loves it here. He has also lived in Latin America for three years – some of it with the Peace Corps in Nicaragua – so he speaks Spanish fluently. He’s a huge sports fan; he loves his Oakland sports teams, but he has adopted Atlanta United, the Falcons, and UGA as his own. He loves pushing himself whether it is in the weight room or on the rugby pitch, and he also enjoys discovering new restaurants, especially those around Buford Highway.
