Since 1991, where it was just one day on the first Saturday in June, the GayDayS® celebration has grown to become the number one premier LGBTQ vacation experience stretching over the whole first week of June. Multiple events staged at world-famous attractions, gay and lesbian nightclubs, and incredible venues comprise a unique and all-LGBTQ-inclusive atmosphere that is hard to match anywhere. Attracting more than 180,000 people from across the globe Gay Days is committed to diversity and inclusion, and Gay Days welcomes young, old, all races and beliefs, parents, straight allies and every other section of the community to partake in the celebration.
The extensive program includes a multitude of pool parties at the official host hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando At SeaWorld, the Gay Days Expo, drag performances, a leather competition, the Miss GayDayS® Pageant, and much more. Gay Days also has a longtime partnership with Disney World in Orlando and participants can experience special gay-themed events and access to attractions like Disney World’s EPCOT Center, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and the Animal Kingdom.
It does take a little bit of planning to attend Gay Days, but luckily their website offers valuable ‘first-timer’ help, and you can download an app to keep track of the entire schedule as well as your passes and accommodation.
GayDayS® is not just another circuit party but an all-over town, something-for-everyone vacation extravaganza – and probably the best vacation you’ll ever have!
