We live in a selfie world where any given moment can become a post on social media. These are a few my favorite things that each in their own way gives me a little boost of confidence – and get me ready for a selfie too 😉
I’m not really concerned about aging, but rather about looking ‘refreshed,’ so the new Aquagold micro-infusion facial treatment is perfect: 24-carat gold needles deliver product relatively painless into the dermis of the skin. I went for botox, which diminishes pores and evens skin tone on the dermis level (not muscle). No recovery time except for skin redness, and the result looks and feels great.

A fragrance can set a mood and make you feel like a million bucks. I’ve been obsessed with Byredo’s Bal d’Afrique since I went to Denmark and the bath products at the hotel were scented with this.

I am hooked on the night cream from Geologie – a personalized, subscription-based, and no-fuss skincare regimen. You put together your routine from full regimen to individual products, set up a plan, and have products delivered. So easy and your skin will love it.

This works as a moisturizing primer, goes on invisible and gives you a nice even skin tone with a new glow – just as the tube says!

I’ve used this on photo shoots on any skin tone and type, and it really does give you a perfect airbrushed look – ready for that hi-def selfie!
Youngblood Hi-Definition Hydrating Mineral Perfecting Powder, $40, ybskin.com
No, I won’t be that bitch at the bar with a selfie halo light on my phone – but I’d love to see if it actually works!
