My Favorite Things | For When I Emerge Again

By Mikkel Hyldebrandt

We may be in this socially distancing situation for a while yet, but I refuse to let that limit the feeling of Spring and the onset of a new season. So, here are a few things that are keeping my spirits up while preparing me for when I get to go into the world again.

Cool for the Summer

The classic blue is amazing, and I am already in love with the print, which is part of the new ABETTERBUZZ Spring collection.

Cool Down

Since extra showers are necessary right now to stay clean and rinse off pollen, I want a body wash that gives a little sensuous break.

Clean Hands

Hand sanitizer is now a must in this new version of the world – so choose one that also cares for your hands.

Modern Mystic Hand Sanitizer 3-Pack, $19.50

A Memory

Once I emerge from my solitary, I want to reestablish my ritual of getting a new fragrance for Spring and Summer – this one is a strong contender.

Gucci Mémoire d’une Odeur, $95

Put Your Foot Down

I want to continue to walk much more now that I have gotten into the habit of it. These shoes will make the walk both stylish and comfortable.

What to Do When it Arrives

To be on the safe side, you have to assume that your online shopping arriving on your doorstep could be contaminated. Here’s what you should do:

  1. Remove it from the packaging and throw packaging material away
  2. Sanitize any robust surfaces
  3. Wash any new clothing items – it can be on the short cycle with low soap
