The queer dance party which originated in London and now has a regular presence in L.A. is making its Atlanta debut!
Within just a few years, the Daddy Issues party has grown into to a worldwide sensation and separate brand entity. This is both on account of the all-inclusion and no-intimidation parties, but also because of their infamous line of merchandise that evolves around their iconic ‘Daddy Issues’ t-shirt.
Daddy Issues originated in London as the brainchild of promoter Ollywood and DJ Borja Pena and quickly grew into a solid nightlife sensation. Last year, the party hopped across the pond to L.A. with monthly installments at various venues. The party has also made East Coast pop-up appearances in NYC, and now Atlanta gears up to be the next city with Daddy Issues. Daddy Issues is all inclusive and all about fagging out so leave your masc for mask at the door and dance those issues away.
The night will feature Atlanta’s own Vicki Powell (Deep South ATL) and Sindri Galvan (No Nonsense/The Cafeteria Los Angeles) who, true to Daddy Issues DJ style, will play an eclectic mix of electronic dance beats that range from house to disco and techno. Your hosts for the night will be Ollywood, Kyra Mora, Brigitte Bidet, Bryce, and Kamal.
