Peach Recommends: Sordid Lives

Out Front Theatre’s final production of their 2017-18 season, Sordid Lives, hits the stage May 3-20.

The theater’s rendition of the classic comedy will reflect the current times and bring a new spin to the show with an all African-American cast portraying the Sordid Lives family members for the first time in the show’s history!

The idea to switch up the cast came through conversations between playwright Del Shores and director Jacob Demlow, and together they came up with the updates of the classic show made especially for Out Front’s production.

As an added bonus, playwright Del Shores will be in town to see Out Front’s spin on his campy classic comedy on Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20, and will host special talk-back sessions afterward.
